Tielman Brothers The Legendary

Tielman Brothers is a band from Indonesia. Their music is rock and roll, but the people in the Netherlands used to call them indorock music, a mixture of Indonesian and Western music, and has roots in Keroncong. Tielman Brothers is a Dutch-Indonesian band which made it into the first international in the 1950's. They are one of the pioneers of rock and roll in the Netherlands. The band is quite famous in Europe, long before The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Tielman Brothers have appeared at the State Palace in front of President Sukarno, the first Indonesian President. They are the children of Herman Tielman from Kupang and Flora Lorine Hess of Semarang. Their recording career began when the Tielman family emigrated in 1957 and settled in Breda, The Netherlands. The Tielman Brothers name better known in Europe, particularly Holland. In Indonesia, the name of The Tielman Brothers is still a foreign name.

Tielman Brothers is believed first to introduce rock music before the Beatles. Their Action stage known are always attractive and entertaining. They appear, mental, rolled, and featuring guitar, bass, and drums are captivating. Andy Tielman, frontman, is believed to have popularized the attractions of playing guitar with his teeth, behind the head or behind the body long before Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page or Ritchie Blackmore


Hystory

Travel history of music Tielman Brothers started in Surabaya in 1945, where four male siblings and a younger sister, Jane, is often done to bring the songs and dances. Their musical ability inherited from his father, Herman Tielman, a Colonial army captain, who often played music with his friends at home, at Surabaya. Starting from interests to play the contrabass Ponthon followed by other relatives. Reggy learn the banjo, Loulou learn the drums, and Andy learn the guitar. Their first appearance at a party event in his home to impress his friends with songs brought loud as Tiger Rag Rag Road and 12. Since then they often perform at a private event in Surabaya. Bids show come from various regions in Indonesia. Until finally, in 1957 the family decided to move to the Netherlands.
